In this class, participants will learn how to cook healthy, easy meals. We will discuss how to plan a healthy diet for better diabetes control, meal planning with healthy food choices, using carbohydrate counting, and how to bring out the flavors in foods, using less sodium, sugar, and saturated fat. We will then go into the kitchen and cook several dishes, then sit down and enjoy a meal together.
Participants will receive an extensive packet of resources and materials.
This class teaches nutrition for improving fertility, eating well during pregnancy, (including nutrition for gestational diabetes), and optimal nutrition during breast-feeding. You will receive handouts and recipe ideas, and sample meal plans.
Learn how the Mediterranean Diet and Lifestyle can help reduce your risk of heart disease, cancer, and diabetes, and can help promote healthy weight loss. You will learn the principles of building a Mediterranean style diet, meal planning, shopping, cooking and flavoring techniques. You will learn where to find recipes and meal plan ideas, and what the research says about the benefits of this lifestyle.
We will then develop a menu and go into the kitchen to cook a healthy and delicious Mediterranean meal, then sit down and enjoy our meal. Extensive packet of information, resources, and recipes included, as well as product samples.
This class teaches nutrition for newborns through toddlers. Learn what babies need to grow their bodies and brains, when and how to introduce various foods, how to deal with limited palates, and how to reduce mealtime stress and develop lifelong healthy eating habits.

Whether you want to go completely vegetarian, or just want to include some vegetarian meals into your week, this class will give you information and inspiration! You will learn how to build a nutritionally sound vegetarian (both lacto-ovo or vegan) diet, meal planning and shopping tips, where to find recipes, and cooking and flavoring techniques.
